Dr. Theresa Welsh is a board certified pediatrician who joined Haddonfield Pediatric Association in 1986. As a fellow on the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Welsh is committed to understanding the most up-to-date academic research and remaining at the forefront of pediatric care. Throughout the year, she attends medical conferences across the U.S. and participates in lectures focused on the latest medical approaches and treatments.

After graduating from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, Dr. Welsh earned her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. She went on to complete her pediatric residency at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia and is now affiliated with Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, New Jersey.

Dr. Welsh and her husband have five children and three grandsons and when she is outside of the office she actively participates in the Haddonfield Adult School M.S. City to Shore bike ride. She is also now a dedicated volunteer for the National Kidney Foundation after promoting kidney chain donations and donating a kidney herself in November of 2013.
